Scouting is an exciting, internationally recognized program that helps young people develop essential life skills, leadership, teamwork, and resilience. We are hoping to bring Scouting to Chelmsford Muslim Society (CMS) and are currently gauging interest. By joining our Scouts program, young people will have the opportunity to:
✅ Learn outdoor skills like camping, fire-lighting, and navigation
✅ Develop confidence, leadership, and teamwork
✅ Connect with nature and build lifelong friendships
✅ Strengthen their faith through reflection on the Qur’an and Hadith, with guidance from the Muslim Scout Fellowship (MSF)
Islam and Scouting
Scouting shares many values with Islam, such as respect, service to others, and personal growth. Through our program, we hope to provide young Muslims with a space to explore their faith while engaging in fun and adventurous activities. The Muslim Scout Fellowship’s Spiritual Development Guide offers fantastic ways for young Scouts to connect with their faith while enjoying the outdoors.
