⚽ CMS Boys Football Team – Essex Community Goals Tournament
Alhamdulillāh, Chelmsford Muslim Society will be entering two boys’ teams (ages 11–14) into the exciting Essex Community Goals 7-a-side Tournament, organised by Essex Police.
This is a great opportunity for our boys to represent the community, build confidence, and enjoy competitive football in a safe, positive environment.
📅 Key Dates
Training 1 will take place on Sunday 29th June from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at Writtle Sports Ground.
Training 2 will be on Sunday 6th July, also from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at Writtle Sports Ground.
Tournament Day is on Saturday 12th July from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Essex Police College, CM2 6DT.
💷 Cost & Registration
The total cost is £8.50 per player. This includes both training sessions, entry to the tournament, and lunch with a drink on the day.

🎒 What Players Must Bring
All players must wear shin pads, as this is a strict requirement to be allowed to play.
Studded football boots with plastic moulds are required—metal studs are not encouraged
⚠️ Important Notes
This is a 7-a-side tournament (6 outfield players and 1 goalkeeper per team).
Not all players will play every game—substitutions will be made throughout the day based on team rotation and game needs.
Matches will be short and fast-paced, and games will be refereed to a professional standard.
Boys are expected to display excellent manners, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the day.
🧠 Conduct Expectations
Players must show respect to referees, coaches, teammates, and opponents.
Abusive language, vaping, spitting, or rough behaviour will not be tolerated.
We expect players to give their best effort while playing fairly and representing our community with dignity.
Photos and videos may be taken throughout the day. If you do not give consent for your child to be photographed, please let us know on the form below
