Scouts Taster Session – The Hamptons

Venue: Room 6 (Upstairs), Hamptons Sports & Leisure, CM2 9FH
Ages: 10–14 years
Chelmsford Muslim Society is excited to invite children and parents to our first Scouts Taster Session as we prepare to launch Scouting at the Hamptons.
This session is a chance to experience what Scouts is all about, meet the leadership team and take part in some of the fun, teamwork and adventure that make Scouting one of the world’s most successful youth programmes.

Who Can Attend?

We are currently planning to launch Scouts (ages 10½–14). Children within these age ranges are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian.

What Will Happen?

Young people will take part in a range of practical activities designed to give them a flavour of the Scout programme. The focus will be on teamwork, problem-solving, confidence-building and having fun together.
Parents will have the opportunity to meet the team, learn about our plans for the future and ask any questions they may have.

Why Scouts?

Scouting helps young people develop confidence, resilience, leadership and practical life skills through exciting experiences and challenges.
Our aim is to provide a welcoming environment where young people can grow in character, build lasting friendships and make a positive contribution to their community.

Looking Ahead

This taster session forms part of our preparations for launching a regular Scouts programme at the Hamptons from September 2026, In shā’ Allāh.
We look forward to welcoming families and sharing our vision for Scouting in the local community.
